These are indeed a good time for loners. Those of us who don’t end up in a party every other weekend now has access to this goldmine called Netflix.
TV is a passé. Dressing up and going out for every other movie is not a very good idea. However, after Netflix, weekends have become more fun and there is not even a single dull moment as this one place has something for everyone and every mood.
So what are you waiting for? Grab your tab and a popcorn tub as Ourtitbits brings to you a mind-blowing list of not-to-be-missed things on Netflix which you should watch ASAP:
- Sacred Games:
If you haven’t seen this Nawazuddin Siddiqui treasure, then trust us, you are definitely missing a lot. Directed by “Dev D” writer Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, this Netflix original show is not any other run-of-the-mill cop-thief story and will leave you biting your nails.
- To All The Boys I ‘ve Loved Before:
Since its Netflix release on August 17, this American teen romantic comedy has sent social media into overdrive, with young people from across the world blowing up their feeds confessing their love for the film. Watch this one and we bet you will be reminded of your first love- whether it was at high school, university, or even after — and you will relate to the slow burn of feelings that develop in the fake relationship of the lead pair. Oops, too much information!
- Once Again:
This one will take you by surprise. Starring “Hichki” actor Neeraj Kabi and Shefali Shah, this love story will leave you with butterflies in your tummy. Kabi is irresistible and Shefali is endearing as an unusual pair tries to cope up with their relationship and face the world. Simply a heartwarming watch!
This Radhika Apte-starrer is not for the weak-hearted ones. Unexpectedly spine-chilling as compared to Indian standard of horror, Ghoul will leave you frightened, thrilled, confused and amazed-all at the same time. Totally mind-f***ing!
- Lust Stories:
Yeah, you may have heard of this one and might have watched it too by now. And if you have not watched this one, you are in for a loss.
- Yeh Meri Family:
This TVF release, now streaming on Netflix, will take you back to good, old and much more frill-free days of the 90s. Small nuances will remind you of the simpler times as a 12-year-old finds his life too “complicated” and “tough.”
- Beyond The Clouds:
Contrary to the popular belief, Ishaan Khatter has debuted with this movie (and not Dhadak!). The movie is the story of two estranged siblings in Mumbai who face dire circumstances after which their lives change and one of them lands up in jail. Definitely, one of the things on Netflix to look out for!
