Smoke Review: Don’t Miss This Eros Now Original Series With Multi-faceted Brilliant Cast [Where To Watch]

(Last Updated On: October 29, 2018)

If you have not watched Eros Now’s latest offering, trust us, you are missing something major in life.

Eros Now has released a mind-boggling web series, Smoke. With a diverse, brilliant and never-seen-before cast ensemble including the likes of Kalki Koechlin, Tom Alter, Jim Sarbh and Gulshan Devaiah, Mandira Bedi, Amit Sial, Satyadeep Mishra, Neil Bhoopalam (phew!), the series is a treat to watch from start to finish.

The series explores the dark underbelly of Goa in the backdrop of crime and drug. The series is directed by Neel Guha, who has assisted Anurag Kashyap on “Gulaal,” “Black Friday” and “That Girl In Yellow Boots.” No wonder Smoke is gripping, gritty, entertaining and intriguing.

Kalki is playing the role of a DJ who is entangled in the drug trade due to her relations with local drug lord Moshe  (Tom Alter).  Jim plays the easy-to-go, affable, beach bum-kind of guy who is the right-hand man of the infamous drug lord.

Gulshan’s Bihari avatar comes as a pleasant surprise as this South Indian actor was never seen anywhere close to such a role before. He plays a migrant contract killer from Bihar who is seen making his way into a prominent place in the gang owing to his loyalty and shrewdness.

Mandira Bedi is her usual self- confident and enchanting.  But the icing on the cake is definitely Tom Alter who was seen in a refreshing and intense avatar, as contrary to the way he was stereotyped his whole life in Bollywood.

The setting and the screenplay are such you will not stop watching until you have completed watching all the episodes.

As of now, 11 episodes of Smoke are streaming on Eros Now and the viewers are keeping their fingers crossed for Season 2. Do log on to Eros Now and get yourself immersed in its twist and turns of this wicked game. Click here to watch.
