Well admit it or not. You got LOTS to binge upon on the internet in 2018. Almost back-to-back unexpectedly super-entertaining web-series hit us and definition of entertainment changed forever.

2019 is here and internet entertainment has finally arrived in India. Well, more is yet to come as here are some of the web-series from 2019 that you should totally watch out for:

  1. Bahubali: Before The Beginning:


After the stupendous success of the twin movies, Bahubali has gained a cult following in India. What can be more exciting than the fact that there is going to be a prequel on Netflix that will be based on the book The Rise Of Sivagami by Anand Neelakantan.

  1. Leila:

Based on the dystopian novel by Prayaag Akbar, Leila will be directed by Deepa Mehta and others for Netflix, and will star the Huma Qureshi and Siddharth.

  1. Bard Of Blood:


Based on a book of the same name, this web series will be Red Chillies Entertainment’s first foray into the digital space. The political espionage thriller will star Emraan Hashmi. Definitely one the most exciting web-series from 2019!

  1. Sacred Games Season 2:


If the first season is anything to go by, the whole world will be waiting for the second season plus to what happens after the ominous 25-day warning. We will get to know in 2019.

  1. Midnight’s Children:


Yes, you read that right. Salman Rushdie’s modern classic that could not be made into a movie for various reasons will be reincarnated into a web series in 2019. And the more exciting part is that it will be helmed by none other than master storyteller Vishal Bhardwaj.

  1. Made In Heaven:

Rumor has it that Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti are collaborating on a web series that has been in the works for a couple years now. Well, it is expected to see the light of the day in 2019 and will star Masaan actress Shweta Tripathi, Kalki Koechlin amongst others.

  1. The Forgotten Army:

Kabir Khan will debut on the internet with this one. The series will be based on Subash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army and will screen on Amazon Prime Video.
