(Last Updated On: November 29, 2018)

Fed up of mid-week monotony? Then watch this unusual group of Radhika Apte, Adil Hussain, Siddhant Kapoor, Ravi Kishan, and Akshay Oberoi go mad over a lost cell phone.

Zee Music Company dropped Bombairiya trailer just a while ago and it is needless to say that it is the most intriguing piece that has come across in a long time. The movie is the directorial debut of Pia Sukanya and is slated to release on Jan. 11.

Bombairiya trailer begins with harried Meghna (Radhika Apte), a misanthropic PR manager, who gets embroiled in an accident. After a maddening argument over nothing, her problems escalate when a biker snatches her precious dear phone.

Well, being a PR agent, Meghna’s phone is more than just an ordinary phone but is a mine of secrets. It seems she can’t just let it go.

What ensues is seem to be a chaotic adventure as Meghna tried to retrieve her phone from a man who in turn is followed by a CID officer. A sleazy video along with a hit man, a powerful jailed politician and a crucial witness-  mystery deepens further with hilarious twists and turns.

Bombairiya trailer is a super-engaging, hilarious and raw comic video. The movie is written and produced by Michael E. Ward.

Interestingly, Bombairiya is releasing after a wait of four years. The shooting of the movie began in 2015 but got delayed for various reasons including woes that come with shooting on real locations in Mumbai, a grievous injury to Siddhanth and a tech glitch.

“We were mid-shoot when we had to update all sequences involving VFX, which took a year to complete rework on visual effects when it usually takes eight weeks,” Michael told Mumbai Mirror.

Now that we have seen the glimpse of the movie, the wait till Jan. 11 seems endless. Until then, watch Bombairiya trailer right here:
