Well, the internet is getting crazier day by day. And even weird place is Instagram where users are currently going gaga over the picture of an egg. So much so that the picture has beaten Kylie Jenner’s record of owning the most-liked picture from her child-birth announcement post.

It so happened that about eleven days ago, an anonymous Instagram account holder (@world_record_egg) posted its first image, which was what appears to be a simple stock photo of a brown egg.

By Sunday morning, the egg photo had around 9 million likes and within 10 hours, that number had doubled, breaking Jenner’s record. The egg appeared to be getting around a million likes per hour once it started going mega-viral on Sunday.

The pic has as of now over 44 million likes and the number is increasing every hour. Kylie is definitely not oblivious about it. She also took to Insta to give her response back.

Well, it seems 2019 is off to a meaningless start. And netizens can’t make much of it too.
