About a decade ago, for mainstream popular Bollywood actors, straying away from the big screen to small screen was considered no less than a career-suicide. Well, no more as a host of Bollywood bigwigs are now opting to stretch themselves out of movies into web-series to win Millenial’s heart.

- Rajkummar Rao:
Rajkummar Rao had a superb inning in 2017. And the icing on the cake was ALT Balaji’s web-series titled “Bose: Dead Or Alive.” Too bad if you have not seen it yet!
- Shahrukh Khan:
Yes, King of Bollywood is ready to conquer the other worlds. Shahrukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment and streaming giant Netflix announced a new series “Bard of Blood.” The series will be based on a book by the same name penned by a young Indian author Bilal Siddiqi. The series is the story of an expelled spy, who is recalled from his new life as a Shakespeare professor in Panchgani to save his country and the long-lost love. This eight-episode high-octane political espionage thriller series is coming soon to your small screens. While the trailer is yet to be released, here is a mini glimpse.
- Saif Ali Khan:
Another one of the most popular Bollywood actors are venturing into web-series is Saif Ali Khan. The actor will soon be seen in Netflix’s upcoming original show “Sacred Games,” Zee News India reported. And the even better news is that the series is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane of “Trapped,” “Lootera,” and “Udaan” fame.
- Nawazuddin Siddiqui:
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to make his digital debut in the international web series “McMafia.” The trailer of this 8-episode series is already out. Apart from this, the versatile actor will also be seen alongside Saif in “Sacred Games.” Wow!
- R. Madhavan:
Madhavan is another one of the popular Bollywood actors who is venturing into web-series. He is set to mark his debut through Amazon Prime’s “Breathe.” The trailer of the series is already out and we are waiting for the series excitedly.
- Radhika Apte:
Although Radhika Apte is already a popular among Netizens, all thanks to her short movie “Ahilya,” she will also join Saif and Nawazuddin in the new web-series titled “Sacred Games.”
- Juhi Chawla:
This 90s superstar has successfully begun her inning in the world of the web-series with Alt Balaji’s Test Case. The web-series is about the daughter of a retired army personnel who is not interested to join the arm but takes it up as a challenge.
- Vivek Oberoi:
Vivek Oberoi too embraced web-series world a while ago when he debuted in Amazon Prime’s first India original series “Inside Edge.” The series gives a peek inside the murky world of fictitious PPL and cricket, where power and money overpowers everything. Do watch it here.
