Guilty (March 6, Netflix) :
Netflix is kicking off March on a high note with its original movie starring Kiara Advani and Dalip Tahil apart from a slew of fresh new faces. The movie revolves around Kiara’s character Nanki who is playing a typical grunge chic who is a songwriter in a band along with her close friends and boyfriend. The band’s life goes for a toss when a new small town seemingly wannabe girl accuses Nanki’s boyfriend of rape.
The original is moving and very beautifully depicts the impact of #MeToo movement while clearing the air around issues of exploitation, power, gender dynamics, sexism, the class divide, prejudice, social media trolling and of course, consent.
First production venture of Dharmatic, the digital arm of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the movie is directed by Ruchi Narain (famous writer of Hawazron Khwaishein Aisi) who has written this one as well along with Kanika Dhillon (writer of Manmarziyan) and Atika Chohan.

The series stars Sanjay Suri, Sandhya Mridul, Dino Morea, Shilpa Shukla and Shruti Seth.
“When Ekta (Kapoor) approached me for the show and I heard the story, I just couldn’t say no. The script is so relevant today. Being a mother has been the most important thing for me. All my awards on one side and my children on the other. My entire career on one side, my kids on the other,” the actress told India Today.
5. Maska (March 20, Netflix):
Another Netflix original movie, Maska stars Manisha Koirala as a Parsi woman who is hellbound to preserve Paris culture as well as her family-run Irani cafe.
