When its raining, why to step out and get stuck somewhere? Brew a hot cup of coffee and get ready to binge-watch your way through this monsoon. And why not when there is no dearth of mind blowing stuff on Netflix, Prime Video and Hotstar.
So let’s get started. Here are some of the best things to watch on internet in July-August 2019:
1. Stranger Things Season 3 (Netflix):
Yeah, the kiddos are back in Hawkins. They have grown up a bit. So is the demon. Stranger Things Season3 is a bit better than not-so-great Season 2 with some new characters like Robin (Maya Hawke), who works at the mall’s nautical-themed ice cream joint Scoops Ahoy with Steve (Joe Keery) and Lucas’s little sister Erica (Priah Ferguson). Apart from horror moments, camaraderie of the characters especially, Steve and Dustin’s bromance are also the high points. Tune in here.
2. Leila (Netflix):
India now has its own dystopian drama, thanks to Deepa Mehta. Leila will take you to a futuristic India where totalitarianism and notions of racial purity reign supreme. The world is digitally way advanced but socially backward by many leaps with a communal leader in the process of identifying, recording and segregating the ‘pure’ from the ‘impure.’
