1. Bhaag Beanie Bhaag:

Bhaag Beanie Bhaag / Netflix

This romantic comedy web series will star Swara Bhaskar in the lead role along with Varun Thakur, Ravi Patel, Mona Ambegaonkar and Girish Kulkarni. The web-series Beanie Bhatnagar who decides to run away from her mundane life and apparently her wedding to pursue her dream of becoming a stand-up comedian. 

The trailer is out and it is giving us major Marvellous Mrs Maisel vibes. Just hoping we are wrong.

2. Sons of the Soil:

Where: Prime Video

When:  Dec. 4

Sons of the Soil / Prime Video

This docu-series stars Abhishek Bachchan as it traces the journey of his famous Kabaddi team Jaipur Pink Panthers. The series will show the audience through the team’s journey, battles, ups-and-downs as Junior Bachchan reveals how he motivates his team and his bond with them.

3. Lahore Confidential:

Where: ZEE5

When: Dec. 11

This ZEE5 original film has Richa Chaddha as a RAW agent as she sets on a spy mission to Pakistan. The film also stars Karishma Tanna, Arunoday Singh and Khalid Siddiqui.

4. Black Widows:

Where: ZEE5

When: Dec. 18

Black Widows

This thriller web series revolves around three women who plan a perfect murder of their abusive husbands. Now they have just started tasting the air of freedom when an investigative team comes knocking. Will their plan fall through or will they find the perfect ending?

Starring Mona Singh, Shamita Shetty and Swastika Mukherjee, this web-series might turn out to be fun to watch.

5. Paurashpur:

Where: ZEE5

When: Dec. 15

Shaheer Sheikh, Shilpa Shinde, Milind Sonam, Sahil Salathia, Annu Kapoor- the cast of Paurashpur is intriguing as its characters’ first looks. This period drama is based on the story of Kingdoms, gender power struggles, and politics. 

6. Coolie No. 1:

Where: Prime Video

When: Dec. 25

Coolie No 1

This much-awaited Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer 90s hits remake is expected to bring in some Christmas cheer this year. Though it is still tricky to forget Govinda’s hit of the same name as comparisons will keep popping up. The movie has borrowed hit numbers from the original film while the plot is obviously too predictable.

7. Shrikant Bashir:

Where: Sony LIV

When: Dec. 11

Shrikant Bashir

The trailer for the web series shows that Shrikant and Bashir are part of an anti-terrorist squad and they’re tasked with tracking down and stopping the spread of Ebola virus. Isn’t it too touchy a topic in the present times? #justsaying.

Do watch out this one if you are a fan of some buddy-cop-action drama.

8. Torbaaz:

Where: Netflix

When: Dec. 11

Torbaaz

The movie is about child suicide bombers in Afghanistan, who have been trained to believe that killing the enemy is a virtue and glory in afterlife. Enters Sanjay Dutt with a mission to train the refugee camp kids in the game of cricket. What happens next should be gripping to watch.

9. Durgamati:

Where: Prime Video

When: Dec. 11

Starring Bhumi Pednekar and Arshad Warsi in lead roles, Durgamati is a thrilling, scary ride that tells the story of an innocent Government officer who is made the victim of a major conspiracy involving powerful forces. The movie is the Hindi remake of  remake of Bhaagamathie, a Telugu-language horror thriller film starring Anushka Shetty.

10. Bombay Rose:

Where: Netflix

When: Dec. 4

Bombay Rose

Simply one-of-its-kind, Bombay Rose is Hindi animated film in which all the characters are created using paint on a computer that was done by 60 artists over 18 months. This film is directed by famous theater actor and filmmaker Gitanjali Rao and is the love story film of Kamala and Salim.
